Oregon Finalizes VI Guidance

On March 25, 2010 the Land Quality Division of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued its final document "Guidance for Assessing and Remediating Vapor Intrusion in Buildings". The guidance includes investigation guidelines, risk- based evaluation procedures, and mitigation. The document can be found at:


ITRC Classroom VI Training

The Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council will be offering its two day course, Vapor Intrusion Pathway: A Practical Guideline, in Cambridge, MA on July 12-13, 2010. Information on the course is found at:


AEHS Presentations Posted

The presentations made at the EPA Update on Vapor Intrusion held in conjunction with the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences West Coast Conference held March 16, 2010 in San Diego are available for review at:


Battelle Conference

The Battelle Conference - Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds will be held in Monterey, CA, May 24-27, 2010. On May 24 and 25 there will be twenty-two vapor intrusion related presentations included in five separate sessions. The preliminary agenda for the conference can be found at:


AIHce 2010

The annual American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition will be held in Denver, CO on May 22- 27. On May 23 there will be an all day short course titled "Vapor Intrusion Investigation and Mitigation - Advances in Assessment and Practice". The course description can be found at:
